The Winterealm Show/Podcast #1 [Debut!]

Hey folks.. The Podcast show has begun.
Decided to take my mind off life abit, and do the Winterealm show thingie. In case you care, my mum's fine and back at home now. She had an infection on a burn wound and triggered a side effect from the medicine she applied on it.

So, i sat down and recorded a little show of me singing a few christian songs, since i was in the mood. It's very freaky hearing myself talk. There are alot of bloopers, and i don't intend to remove them. I hope the thingie will be well received. Otherwise, it'll just be a one time thing. If it is well received, i will continue.
This show was recorded in a laidback manner, and with pretty questionable audio quality intentionally for certain reasons.
(i) proof that it's original
(ii) people from ripping the songs apart.
Please leave your comments. And tell your grandmother and her friends about the show. :)

Disclaimer:
This episode of the show contains christian content, and features me singing christian songs.
If you do not like such material, don't listen.

Besides the echoes been really heavy at the beginning, but it could easily be filtered with the equalizer settings.

Review on the song: You have a good vocals ... :) Good at singing ballads.

Second song ... that's my favourite. :) Good choice of song there you have ...

Not on iTunes? I only listen to podcasts on my iPod :/

Mike: actually, initially i had the talking parts without reverb, and only the singing parts with reverb... but then after listening through... it sounds as if i put a CD on after talking... haha.. so i decided to just throw in everything ... but as this thing is still new, i'll keep optimizing and tweaking it..

ketsugi: i think if you click on the feedburner link, you will find a button where you can add the podcast to itunes...
BUT, at this time, the mp3 will not show up under Podcasts, but rather together with your songs under the podcast genre. I'm trying to find out how to fix that.

Hey i just tuned in. Not a very technically inclined person, but I think it's quite nice as a starting point! Do put more podcasts up! And if you feel you're having too few instruments, maybe can get guest musicians!! =p Anyway, you've got yourself one more repeat audience for the next show!

Forgot to mention, need to equalize between your talking and singing! Voice is great for both, but I have to keep fiddling with the volume...

Fred: you need an iTunes Music Store account, and then from within the iTMS you can publish your podcast.

Unfortunately there's no easy way for Singaporeans to get an iTMS account yet unless you have an American credit card or something.

ketsugi: yeah i realized... i'm gonna try to get a couple of american friends to help ...
zim: thanks! yeah i know there are alot of technical flaws at the moment.. things will get more refined as i do more shows... For the first show, i'm basically looking at the response... but from the response so far, i'm not sure if i should continue though..

Other than the technical problems mentioned by everyone else, I thought it was really entertaining and refreshing, in part because everything was so spontaneous. Plus you really do have a great voice. :)
